Embark on our inaugural Palestine Summer Walk and walk for a cause that truly matters – making a difference to the lives of people in Gaza.

Your support can be a lifeline by providing essential food to those in desperate need. Gather your friends and family to walk 5 miles and soak up the summer sun (let’s hope the British June weather doesn’t let us down!).

Our summer walk is intentionally quite challenging, allowing you to experience a bit of discomfort in the heat. This symbolic hardship pales in comparison to the daily horrors endured by our brothers and sisters in Palestine. Walking in solidarity becomes an opportunity to show support and impact Palestinian lives.

If walking is difficult for you, we’ve also lined up an online walk with a pretty cool character to keep you entertained along the way.

The people of Gaza are facing starvation, and your contribution can help save lives by providing basic necessities like food and water.

Tickets and Registration Fee Information:

You're in luck, registration is free!

Walking solo? Raise £200
Family of 3: £450 (this is a reduced amount)
Family of 4: £650 (this is a reduced amount)
Family of 5: £850 (this is a reduced amount)

Transport Information:

There is no transport arranged for this event. By registering, you agree to make your own way to the location of the event.

Why Are We Holding Palestine Summer Walk?

The ongoing conflict has claimed over 30,000 Palestinian lives, including 12,000 children and 8,000 women, with the death toll rising. An estimated 70,000 are injured, and over 2.3 million Gazans are displaced.

We cannot sit idly. Participate in our Palestine Summer Walk to provide vital support. In collaboration with our trusted partner 'Hayat Yolu,' a non-governmental organization based in Turkey, your aid will reach Gaza.

Join us in our first-ever Palestine Summer Walk and make a meaningful impact on the lives of those facing unprecedented challenges in Palestine.

Register your place today.

Even while the news overflows with stories of violence in Israel and Palestine, there are people and organizations on the ground who remain committed to connection, justice, and peace. Parents Circle, Combatants for Peace and InterAct International are just three of the joint Israeli-Palestinian organizations persistently working for peace and a way forward centered around empathy and humanization. Join us to hear about this work from those who have been helping to support it: Beth Schuman, founder of American Friends of Combatants for Peace and Shiri Ourian, Executive Director of the American Friends of the Parents Circle: Bereaved Families for Peace.
Beth Schuman founded American Friends of Combatants for Peace ( https://www.afcfp.org/) in 2016, and served as the organization’s first Executive Director for seven years. During her tenure, Combatants for Peace grew from a virtually unknown NGO with a membership of around 50 activists, to an organization that regularly organizes events (in partnership with Parents Circle) of nearly 300,000 people, and has become a household name in the peace community and around the world. More recently Beth worked to launch the InterAct Education Center (https://www.iinteract.org/), a project of InterAct International, which is the non-profit arm of Mejdi Tours. Mejdi is a dual narrative political tour company organizing delegations to Israel/Palestine and other war-torn regions. Both AFCFP and Mejdi Tours are integral parts of the peace community on the ground in Israel-Palestine, and Beth is thrilled to share her experiences and expertise with us.
Shiri Ourian has been the Executive Director of the American Friends of the Parents Circle: Bereaved Families for Peace since 2013. Previously she was a communications and development consultant for progressive, non-profit organizations in Israel and the West Bank. She has a B.A. from Vassar College and an MPH from Hebrew University. The Parents Circle – Families Forum is a joint Israeli-Palestinian organization made up of more than 700 bereaved families. Their common bond is that they have lost a close family member to the conflict. But instead of choosing revenge, they have chosen a path of reconciliation. As a joint Israeli-Palestinian peace organization, the PCFF models constructive dialogue around shared values. Even since October 7th, 2023, its staff, members, and thousands of participants are still committed to making peace together. American Friends of the Parents Circle – Families Forum shares the human side of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict with the American public in order to foster a peace and reconciliation process.

Cosponsored by the American Friends Service Committee-NH Program

About NHPA’s bi-weekly Zoom Peace & Justice Conversation Series: 2020’s upheavals brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility. Boycott EuroVision song contest
🇵🇸The call from Palestinians is clear: Boycott Eurovision. The reason is evident: participating legitimises Israel's presence & lets them believe their presence is acceptable. It is not. @_IAFP
#eurovision #boycott
As the civilian death toll continues to grow at an appalling rate in Gaza, Veterans For Peace has launched a walk down the East Coast to Washington, DC calling for a ceasefire in Gaza, and an end to war more broadly. They will visit communities and churches along their route to share their message of peace, and why having been part of war, they still believe peace is possible.

Veterans For Peace is a global organization of military veterans and allies whose collective efforts are to build a culture of peace by using their experiences and lifting their voices. Recent campaigns include calling on the State Department Inspector-General to investigate illegal shipments and numerous violations of Federal law regarding Israel’s attacks on Gaza and the PeaceWalk from Maine to DC. Both campaigns have active NH contingents that NH Peace Action is proud to support. Featuring Will Hopkins, Will Thomas, & Tarak Kauff.
Will Hopkins served in Iraq in 2004 and 2005 as a US Army Infantryman, and was decorated for valor for his tour which included the fall 2004 Fallujah Offensive. He served as the Executive Director of NH Peace Action from 2009 until September of 2023. Will will be the incoming national Director of Veterans For Peace on May 1st.
Will Thomas is a lifelong educator, teaching US History and American Government in Manchester, NH from 1969 to 2002. In 1989 he became a member of Veterans for Peace and is active with NH Peace Action and the Palestine Education Network.
Tarak Kauff is the editor-in-chief of Peace and Planet News. He was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army from 1959 to 1962 and is a lifetime member and former board member of Veterans For Peace.

About NHPA’s bi-weekly Zoom Peace & Justice Conversation Series: 2020’s upheavals brought us to a new moment of reckoning and possibility.
